Blue Pharos Privacy Notice
Document version: blue-pharos-privacy-notice-v1
This Privacy Notice explains how Blue Pharos LLC handles information when a business reviews a website preview, requests information, becomes a customer, uses the customer workspace, or receives the Blue Pharos service.
1. Information we handle
Depending on the relationship and requested service, Blue Pharos may handle:
- business and contact information, including names, business addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, service areas, and operating details;
- information and assets supplied for a website, such as logos, photographs, text, services, hours, claims, and approvals;
- preview, onboarding, revision, launch, support, and cancellation records;
- billing status, invoice references, and subscription metadata supplied by Stripe, but not complete payment-card details;
- website contact-form submissions routed to a customer’s verified destination;
- website activity and technical information used for privacy-conscious analytics, reliability, security, and troubleshooting; and
- communications and audit records needed to provide and document the service.
2. How we use information
Blue Pharos uses information to:
- prepare and review personalized website previews;
- verify customer and business information;
- create, host, maintain, secure, and update approved websites;
- register or manage an approved domain;
- provide onboarding, billing, support, analytics, reporting, and included marketing direction;
- communicate about service access, security, payment, approvals, launch status, updates, and reports;
- prevent abuse, investigate failures, and maintain operational evidence; and
- comply with legal, accounting, security, and dispute requirements.
Unrelated promotional marketing requires separate consent.
3. Providers and disclosures
Blue Pharos uses service providers only for supported business functions. Current launch providers include:
| Provider | Supported function |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Domain, DNS, website delivery, security, and related infrastructure |
| Hetzner | Application and operational hosting |
| Stripe | Checkout, subscriptions, invoices, receipts, and payment-method management |
| Resend | Service email delivery |
| Matomo | Privacy-conscious website analytics and reporting |
| Twilio | Business calling and voicemail workflows |
| Lob | Postcard preparation, address processing, printing, and postal delivery |
Vetted automation and AI providers may process the minimum approved business content needed for a supported workflow. Blue Pharos remains accountable for final reviewed work.
Blue Pharos may also disclose information when required by law; to protect customers, Blue Pharos, or others; to investigate misuse or security events; or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
4. Payment information
Stripe processes payment-card and supported wallet information. Blue Pharos does not store complete card details. Blue Pharos receives the billing and subscription information needed to operate the account, reconcile payment status, and provide invoices or support.
5. Website analytics and technical information
Blue Pharos may collect limited website activity and technical information through Matomo and operational logs. This information supports customer reporting, service reliability, security, and troubleshooting. Analytics can be incomplete or interrupted and are not treated as a guarantee of traffic, leads, calls, or sales.
6. Customer website contact forms
Contact-form submissions on a customer website are routed to the customer’s verified business email with spam controls and minimal operational retention. Blue Pharos does not provide a customer-relationship-management system under the standard plan. The customer is responsible for its own use of messages it receives.
7. Retention
Blue Pharos retains active account and operational records as needed to provide the service. Operational workspace information and customer-uploaded data are retained for 90 days after service ends, then deleted or anonymized unless legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute requirements require longer retention.
Accepted terms, billing records, security evidence, and other records may be retained for the period required to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and satisfy applicable obligations.
8. Security
Blue Pharos uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Customer choices and requests
Customers can correct business information and manage supported service choices through the customer workspace or Blue Pharos support. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights can be sent to legal@bluepharos.com. Blue Pharos may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting.
10. Changes to this notice
Blue Pharos may update this notice when its practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The version displayed with the notice identifies the applicable publication. Material changes are communicated when required.
